i would like to know how long should it take for a person to complete a basic guitar lesson?

   i am a guitar teacher, you never stop learning…..once u learned something there is always something else to learn….

   try learning scales, modes, counterpoints, peddletones learn it all

   I agree. There’s no “completing” a lesson. It depends on how far you want to go and your aptitude. Also, your ears. If you can’t hear the music, it’s not for you. With all this said, you should learn chords in a few days.

   IDK depends on the person. It took me only 4 month to learn all the strings and notes but I could read music before hand cause I am with the band….
